About the Artist
Olga Morris is a Melbourne artist. She completed a B.A. at Monash University, majoring in History and Human Geography. These interests influence her drive to provide a visual commentary on some of the issues that affect the human condition, in the environment in which we live.
Through the AOU, Morris studied Fine Arts subjects at Curtin University and Digital Imaging techniques at RMIT. In 2009, she learnt Dynamic Drawing techniques at the Brunswick Street Gallery (BSG).
Morris has spent many years learning, experimenting and honing her artistic techniques. She uses three software programs to construct her digital paintings through a process of drawing, painting, cutting and pasting and multi-layering her own creations, to produce her works. She also uses the more traditional mediums; such as pastels, charcoal and inks for her life drawings and portraiture works.
